Sleepout For Homelessness: Fire Tenders
7pm - February 18th, 2022

Hope Breaks Through

THANK YOU for supporting Care For Friends' Sleepout For Homelessness as a Fire Tender!

At 7pm, we will be hosting a small program at 530 W. Fullerton Parkway where we will light our campfire, hear some speakers share their stories of hope, and share some smores and hot cocoa. You will receive a link to join this event virtually, in case COVID restrictions or other reasons make that a preferred way for you to participate.

As a Fire Tender, we'd like for you to sign up for a 30 minute time slot (or more!) to keep watch over one of our campfires - and welcome any guests who want to come light a candle from it to take home as they spread the light of hope for Chicago's homeless through the city. This button will take you to our volunteer sign up page:

Don't forget to invite friends and family to show their support by donating via your personal fundraising page.

We've created a fundraising media kit that includes pre-made videos, messages, and photos all ready for you to use to solicit support. Feel free to create your own, too. Get creative!
